WHAT IS BIO-CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY?
Bio-ceramic fabrics are made with textile fibres, such as polyester and polyamide, that have been embedded with a mix of functional minerals. Bio-ceramic fibres release and emit the same far infrared rays (F.I.R.) produced by sunlight, plus they improve the exchange of oxygen and increase microcirculation, producing an anti-inflammatory effect. These synthetic fibres retain their beneficial properties over time.
WHY SHOULD WE USE BIO-CERAMICS?

WHAT ARE F.I.R. AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
Far infrared rays (F.I.R.) are the same as the rays emitted by thrsun which are also known as the “rays of life” because they are part of spectrum of sunlight that can be absorbed and penetrate 5 to 7 cm into the body.
The health benefits of F.I.R. have been proven over the past fifty years by many highly regarded clinical studies and they have no side effects. The action of bio-ceramic is twofold as they emit F.I.R. and reflect the F.I.R. produced by the horse’s body, creating a dual flow of infrared rays that gives the product its technical properties.
F.I.R. increase localised microcirculation which boosts blood flow in the capillaries. This means more oxygen which helps damaged or injured tissue to heal more quickly.
Another advantage, and direct consequence, of stimulating microcirculation is that catabolites, namely the body’s metabolic waste, are expelled more rapidly. The area of the body in contact with the bio-ceramic fabric starts to feel warmer after just fifteen minutes.
